What to Expect

  • Each horse is unique. The process will begin with a careful assessment of the horse’s movement, case history and a discussion of the therapeutic goals.
  • A program will be discussed with the owner. The program will include a series of sessions that includes a unique combination of Massage & Myofascial Release, CranioSacral Services, and Synergy Healing (Reiki, EMF Balancing, Acupressure). There may be interaction with other professionals and on-going maintenance.
  • Each session will take approximately 45-60 minutes. You should be there to handle your horse and answer questions throughout the session.
  • Throughout the program you will learn how to do basic massage, myofascial release and stretching techniques to maintain the results.
  • Please be sure that your horse is dry, groomed and ready for their appointment. It is recommended that the horse be current with their veterinary care and is free of skin (fungal) infections.
  • Please wait at least one week after routine vaccinations to schedule a massage.
  • Body work is recommended within 30 days of any dental work, including routine floating.

“I own a 17 year old Appendix mare named Royale.  I retired Royale  in August of 2011 due to tripping and poor body balance.  Barb began sessions with her in December of 2012 and we already see amazing changes in Royale’s body. In addition to the visible muscular and structural changes, Royale has regained her zest for life...you can see it in her eyes! With continued progress I hope to be riding her again in the fall. “

THANK YOU BARB! Renee Kuprianczyk

Barb did an initial assessment and recommended 3 sessions over 6 weeks. That was all it took to get us back on track, and in the ribbons.” Laura Voll
